Sidney, NY - Greg Mertz passed away after a valiant struggle with pulmonary fibrosis. Greg was a man of many trades. He was a professional photographer and a master tool and die.

Greg loved his kitties, watching Nascar and taking long drives, just to enjoy the beauty of nature.

Greg was predeceased by his parents, Eleanor and Wendelin; sister, Deborah; and brothers, Steve and Randy.

Greg is survived by his sister, Wendy Lee (Tim) McGrady; son, Eric Champlin (Melissa); daughter, Shannon; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A private interment will be held in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Sidney.
