DELHI - Helen Mary McHugh, 88, of Delhi, passed away on Monday morning, Nov. 27, 2017, at Fox Hospital Nursing Home in Oneonta.

Born on Nov. 17, 1929, in Roebling, New Jerey, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Julia (Bogda) Kollar.

Helen was married to Richard McHugh. He passed away in 1992.

She had worked as a technician for Raytheon in Long Island until her retirement.

Mrs. McHugh enjoyed reading, shopping, and yard work and loved her home. He greatest passion was her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a proud grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Kate (Bo) Bolger of Franklin and Richard (Cynthia) McHugh of Walton; grandchildren, Zach Bolger, Sean (Valerie) Bolger, Brendan (April) McHugh and Christine McHugh; great-grandchildren, Seamus Bolger, Declan Bolger and Connor McHugh; and a brother, Elmer (Patricia) Kollar of Washington, New Jersey.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 3 to 6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 1, at the Hall & Peet Funeral Home, 134 Main St., Delhi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, at St. Peter's Church, Cross St., Delhi, with the Rev. Richard Golding celebrant. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx.
