Cherry Valley, NY - CHERRY VALLEY - Hester Ann Livengood, born March 20, 1945 in Pearl River, to Flaversham and Rowlinda (Bayldon) Livengood, passed away Oct. 3, 2025 in Amsterdam. Hester attended Hillside, New Jersey schools and graduated from Pascack Valley Regional High School, Hillsdale, New Jersey.

Hester became severely handicapped due to injuries from an automobile accident her senior year in high school. She was very active with Easterseals and attended their summer camps in Chittenango for many summers.

Hester is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Rowlinda and Joesph Copeland of Wakefield, Virginia; nephew, Alan Copeland of Manassas, Virginia; and several cousins.

Calling hours will be 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Oct 29 at Ottman Funeral Home, 22 Church Street, Cherry Valley, NY 13320 with services following promptly at noon. Burial will follow in Cherry Valley Cemetery.
