HOBART - Isabel Flower, 96, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019, at her home in Hobart.

Born on Sept. 17, 1923, in Walton, Isabel was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Vida (Little) Murray.

Isabel was a 1946 graduate of Delaware Academy. During World War II she was employed by Scintilla/Bendix Aviation Co.

On June 2, 1946, Isabell married Kenneth G. Flower. The union lasted 66 years until Ken passed on April 8, 2013. The couple enjoyed spending time with family at Caroga Lake and wintering in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Mrs. Flower was a former member of Eastern Star, Hobart United Methodist Church and the Hobart Civic Club. Isabel enjoyed playing golf and was a member at both Stamford Golf Course and Nick Stoner Golf Course in Caroga Lake.

Besides her husband and parents, Isabel was predeceased by a daughter, Pamela; sisters, Frances Smith and Ruth Telford; and brothers, Robert Murray and Lyall Murray.

She is survived by her son, Tim Flower and Janel Kilmer of Hobart; Janel's daughter, Janelee (Dominick) Kelley and her children, Jaylee and Daniel Kelley; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Isabel's request there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
