East Meredith, NY - EAST MEREDITH - Jacquelyn I. "Jaci" Moore, 67, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Oct. 2, 2025 after a courageous battle against leukemia.

She was born on Dec. 26, 1957 in Sidney, the daughter of Herman and Florence (Beams) Wiedeman.

Jaci graduated from Charlotte Valley Central School in Davenport and SUNY Delhi. She married the love of her life, Todd T. Moore, on Oct. 5, 1985, in Oneonta.

She worked for several years at Gordon B. Roberts Insurance before joining the Oneonta City School District, where she served as a beloved school secretary at Riverside Elementary School for more than 20 years, retiring in 2019. Her kindness, humor, and warmth touched countless students, teachers, and families over the years.

A devoted member of the Charlotte Valley Presbyterian Church, Jaci lived her faith through her compassion, generosity, and joy for life. She loved traveling and especially cherished time spent with her daughters and grandchildren. Jaci found great joy in decorating her home for every holiday and spending time in her flower gardens, tending to them with the same care and love she gave to everyone around her.

Family gatherings were among her greatest joys, whether she was planning, hosting, or simply laughing around the table while playing games. Those who knew Jaci will remember her as someone who loved to be in the middle of the fun and could light up any room, yet she never made anything about herself, even during her hardest times. Her strength, grace, and selflessness were a reflection of the love she carried for those around her.

She is survived by her husband, Todd T. Moore; daughters, Nicole and Jeff Wolf and Kaitlyn and Ryland Culbertson; grandchildren, Jack and Charlotte Wolf and Porter, Maxci, and Annie Culbertson; sister-in-law, Erin and Dave Hughes; brother-in-law, Brett and Susie Moore; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Larry, Butch, and Harry Callahan; and parents-in-law, David and Andrea Moore.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, at Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, at Charlotte Valley Presbyterian Church, 15673 NY 23, Davenport, with the Rev. Mary Jo Koehler officiating. Burial will follow at East Meredith Cemetery.
