MARYLAND and STAR LAKE - James "JJ" L. Rice Jr., age 47, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep Oct. 27, 2024 at his family's hunting camp.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at French Family Funeral Home at 4159 State Highway 3 in Star Lake. There will be a funeral Mass held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at St. Hubert's Catholic Church in Star Lake. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery in Fine.
There will be a celebration of life later in November in Oneonta. Details will be distributed through family and friends.
