ONEONTA - Jesse Clayton Smith left this earth on Aug. 8, 2023.
He was born April 28, 1981, in Oneonta, son of Thomas R. and Lila K. Smith.
A graduate of Unatego High School, he attended SUNY Cobleskill.
As a youngster, he loved raising chickens and playing soccer. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing.
He was predeceased by his father, Thomas; older brother, Matthew; maternal grandparents; and two uncles, Doug and Tony.
He leaves behind his sons, Jacob, Anton and JC; and many other family members.
Jesse lived and fought his demons daily. He is now safe and well and dwells with the Lord. May he finally be at peace.
