RICHFIELD SPRINGS - Joyce Marie Kimsey, 84, beloved wife of Dale E. Kimsey, passed away peacefully Monday evening, Sept. 13, 2021, at Faxton-Saint Luke's Medical Center, New Hartford.
She was a lifelong Richfield Springs area resident.
Surviving besides Dale, her husband of 49 years, are two sons, David and Matthew DeForest; brother, Richard DeForest; sister, Alice Crist; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Michael DeForest; and two sisters, Donna Sweet and Sylvia DeForest.
At Mrs. Kimsey's request, her funeral service and interment will be private.
Arrangements are with Fenner Funeral Home, 115 Court St., Herkimer.
