OTEGO - June P. Mitchell, 61, of Otego, died Saturday evening, Dec. 23, 2023, at her home.
She was born on July 2, 1962, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to James C. and June R. (Cleofe) McKenna.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Mitchell.
She worked in patient services at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Maria McKenna and Thomas Beaujour, NYC; stepson, Lloyd Mitchell, Unadilla; stepdaughter, Laurie Mitchell, New Jersey; five grandchildren, Lloyd Mitchell Jr., Kellie-Jean Mitchell and Anthony Larkin, Donna Mitchell, Dillon Mitchell and Shannon Simpson; great-grandchild, Brayden Gaffney; aunt and uncle, Marylou and James D'Alessio, Florida; and several other members of the Mitchell family and close family friend, Janice Incze.
The family will receive friends at Westcott-Madden Funeral Home, 123 Main St., Unadilla, from noon until 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 6.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Delaware Valley Humane Society, 101 E. Main St., Sidney, NY 13838.
