Justin Kenneth Hahn Obituary

RENSSELAER - Justin Kenneth Hahn, 31, formerly of Worcester, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at his residence in Rensselaer.

He was born on Dec. 20, 1988, in New Haven, Connecticut.

Justin graduated from Worcester Central School in 2007. He then graduated from SUNY Albany with a masters degree in education.

Cherishing his memories are his parents, William A. and Susan (Goudey) Hahn of Worcester; brother and sister-in-law, William A. (Carrie) Hahn Jr. and their children, Cayden and Caylee; sister and brother-in-law, Christy (John) Pirrone and their son, Greyson; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Janet Goudey of Venice, Florida; paternal grandmother, Betty Hahn-Jenny of Brooksville, Florida; many aunts, uncles, cousins; his girlfriend, Melissa Rivera and her family; Mike and Lisette Grimaldi; and the Stapletons.

He will be especially missed by his kitties, Theon, Loki and Sally; plus pup, Abby, who adored him.

Justin had a friendly, generous nature and loved to make people laugh. He was a true entertainer and a talented musician. He loved playing the guitar for family and friends, plus enjoyed playing the banjo and drums.

His love of nature began as a young boy spending vacations with his family on the shores of Maine.

After being nominated for and participating in the Outward Bound program in high school, one of his dreams was to become a counselor.

He worked for the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities as a training specialist, a job he enjoyed very much.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.
