Karl Leo  Kohler Sr.
GILBOA - Karl Leo Kohler Sr., 72, formerly of Gilboa, who was living in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on Nov. 8, 2019, at his residence.
He was born on Jan. 27, 1947, in Gilboa, the son of Miles and Hazel (Brownell) Kohler.
He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1967 to 1971.
He worked as a machinist and a tool and die maker at a Precision machine shop.
He enjoyed fishing and collecting record albums.
Karl is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Beth) Bartley Kohler, who he married on Nov. 30, 1974; three sons, Karl Jr., Kristin and Kevin; grandchildren, Kaylee, Alysse, Isaac, Grace and Miles; great-grandchild, Christian; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at Gilboa Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dottie Morris officiating.
Committal prayers will follow in Gilboa Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday Nov. 16, at Miller Funeral Home in Roxbury.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Miller Funeral Home.
