Town of Oneonta, NY - ONEONTA - We are saddened to announce the loss of Kelly R. Finch, "Finch", 46, of Oneonta, on April 23, 2025, after a courageous fight against cancer.

He was born Feb. 23, 1979, the son of Beth (Flint) Finch and Thomas Finch. He graduated from Milford Central School in 1997 and attended college classes for criminal justice.

He was most recently employed at Bassett Hospital where he worked in the facility grounds department. He previously worked at Cooperstown Dreams Park, The Shire Pub, Holiday Lanes Bowling Alley and he bartended in his past as well.

Finch was a hard worker and made many friends and acquaintances during his lifetime. He enjoyed bowling and playing pool in local leagues. He also loved spending time with family and friends. He was always busy doing something.

He will be forever loved by his significant other, Lynn Board (Megan, Courtney and Lenore); children, Damien Finch, Ziva Finch and Abigail Roberts; brother, Lee Finch; sisters, Jamie, Danielle, and Nicole; father, Thomas Finch (Carolyn); several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Beth (Flint) Finch.

A celebration of life for Finch will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, May 9 at the Oneonta Veteran's Club in Oneonta.

Burial services will be private.
