DAVENPORT CENTER - Larry Joseph Van Keuren, 34, of Davenport Center, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2024 at Albany Medical Center after a tragic accident.

Larry was born on Dec. 10, 1989 to Sandra Van Keuren and Gordon Aldrich Jr. Larry liked being funny and to make others laugh. He enjoyed working on cars and watching Colts football.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal Van Keuren and family of Davenport Center; his mother, Sandra Van Keuren of Oneonta; father, Gordon Aldrich Jr. of Florida; brother, Eric Meade of Davenport Center; sister, Melissa McAdams of Davenport; special friends/adopted dad, James and Debbie Sites; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; his dog, Nugget and cat, Roscoe.

Larry was predeceased by his sister, Kimberly Sites; maternal grandparents, Donna Quackenbush and Julian Van Keuren, and paternal grandfather, Gordon Aldrich Sr.

Friends are invited to call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St., Sidney. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6 in the Masonville Cemetery, Masonville.
