Oneonta, New York - ONEONTA - Lillian E. Hall, 91, of Oneonta passed away on Aug. 28, 2025 at home.

She was born on Dec. 10, 1933 in Unadilla, daughter of the late LeRoy and Eunice Williams.

Lillian married Fredrick Hall, Sr. on Dec. 16, 1949. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.

Lillian loved to cook and bake for family and friends, enjoyed sewing, quilting and mowing her lawn (until the last few years), going shopping and to casinos (which she enjoyed doing with her sisters). She also took great pride in her hair and loved her weekly hairstylist appointments. She was able to see and be a part of the lives of five generations of family over her 91 years. Along with raising a family, Lillian and Fred built a roofing company and ran a family farm.

Lillian wore many hats; business manager (which she was still taking calls for the business), bookkeeper, and farmer, but most important, she was the heart of her family. She was a great mom and was loved dearly by all.

Lillian is survived by her children, Donna Decker (Don), Fredrick Hall, Jr. (Andrea), Penelope Timer, Wendy Cleaveland; son-in-law, Bill Sands; grandchildren, Anthony Winchester, Sr. (Vicki), John Winchester (AnneMarrie), Donald Decker, Jr. (Chris), David Decker, Dennis Decker (Stephanie), Casey Hall, Jennifer Timer (Marilyn), Cami Gulla (Ryan), Shelby Cleaveland (Brandon); great grandchildren, Anthony, Jr. and Ryan Winchester, Grant and Emma Decker, Hannah and Charlie Decker and Trevor and Taylor Decker; great-great grandchildren, Lucas and Owen Winchester and Jackson Winchester; brother, Charles Burrows, Sparta, Tennessee; sister, Carolyn Greenaway; brothers-in-law, Jack Hartwell, Mt. Upton and John Pearson; sisters-in-law, Janice Williams, Oneonta and Doris Brooks, Norwich; cousin, Dean Roberts, Schenevus; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Fredrick Hall, Sr.; daughter, Pamela Sands; granddaughter, Crystal Timer-Borne; sisters, Susie Hartwell, Esther Russell, Kathy Bryden and Gladys Hawkins; and brothers, Benjamin and Louis Williams.

There will be a private graveside service for Lillian at the convenience of the family.
