Louise F. Dutcher (Weezie) Obituary

MYRTLE BEACH - Louise Frances Dutcher ("Weezie"), 86, passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Milford, New York, on Feb. 22, 1938, Louise lived there her entire life until she traded her snowbird status for full-time residency with nephew Richard (Linda) Dutcher in sunny South Carolina.

Graduating from Milford Central School in 1955, she served in the Air Force from 1956-1958, training in Texas and stationed at Syracuse AF Station as a finance specialist. She retired in 2000 after a 40-year career with Wilber Bank.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a proud patriot. Faith, family and friends (furry ones, too) being foremost in her life, Louise enjoyed traveling, crafting, gardening, music, laughter and a good margarita - on the rocks! She will always and forever be 'our sunshine!'

Louise was preceded by her parents, John Collins and Agnes Ernst Dutcher, sister Judy (Ralph) Westfall and five brothers, Rod (Erwina), Jim (Gwen), John (Joanne), Dick (Rosa) and Billy Dutcher. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews, greats and great greats thereof, and many friends she held in close regard as family.

A funeral Mass and burial will be held in the spring, her favorite time of year. To honor her, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, your local veterans' organization or local animal shelter.

Arrangements are under the care of Tillapaugh Funeral Service, Cooperstown.
