Lynn B. Barton Obituary

Morris, NY - MORRIS - Lynn B. Barton, 71, passed away Nov. 7, 2025. Born Oct. 20, 1954, he was the son of the late Bernard C. Barton and Joan Marie Fiedler.

Lynn was a passionate and hardworking man who dedicated much of his life to beekeeping and agriculture. He was an active member of the Empire State Honey Producers Association and the New York State Beekeepers Association and also served as a New York State Bee Inspector. Beyond his love for bees, Lynn enjoyed making maple syrup, brewing his own beer, and engaging in a wide variety of crafts. His creativity and dedication were evident in everything he did.

Lynn is survived by his son, Brian (Raquel) Barton; brothers, Richard (Alice) Barton and Bill (Sandy) Barton; sisters, Marie (Tom) Pieling and Susan (Ying) Yee; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents; son, Jacob Barton, and daughter, Jennifer Barton.

Lynn will be remembered for his kindness, humor and tireless work ethic. His love for nature, family and community will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to visitation hours from 11 a.m. until noon Saturday, Nov. 22, at Johnston & Stanimer Funeral Home, 60 Broad Street, Morris, with funeral service to follow.
