Harpersfield - HARPERSFIELD - Makena Nicole Beasley, 19, of Harpersfield, passed away tragically on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2022, at Albany Medical Center, from injuries sustained in a dirt biking accident.

Born on Nov. 26, 2002, in Oneonta, Makena was the daughter of James and Sherri (Empie) Beasley.

She was a graduate of Stamford Central School.

Makena loved animals and farm life and enjoyed spending time on her family farm in Harpersfield. She also had a passion for the outdoors and motorsports, she could be found riding her Harley Davidson, dirt biking or snowmobiling.

Besides her parents James and Sherri of Harpersfield, Makena is survived by her companion, Chris Agan of Harpersfield and his children, Mo and Ricky; her grandmother, Etta (Richard) Empie-Cook of Worchester; aunts, Becky Ploutz of Jefferson and Mary Gaskin of Schenevus; uncle, Tim Bradley of South Carolina; along with several cousins.

Friends and relatives are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 18, at MacArthur Funeral Home, 15 Buntline Drive, Stamford, where a service will follow at 7 p.m.
