ONEONTA - Marian J. Calhoun, 89, was called upon to go to her heavenly home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, at Albany Medical Center.

Born on Aug. 10, 1933, in Andes, she was the daughter of the late William M. and Mabel (McQueen) Truesdell.

Marian will be greatly missed by all who knew her beautiful smile which she always had for anyone with whom she crossed paths. She will especially be missed by her daughter, Janice, who was by her side as she was being called home to Heaven.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Charles Calhoun; son, Donald and wife, Niomi; son-in-law, Robert Combs; and brother, James Truesdell

Marian leaves behind her daughter, Janice Combs; two brothers, Herbert and Lauren Truesdell; several nieces, nephews, and friends, especially, Darlene Boice.

Following Marian's wishes there will be no services.

Burial will take place in Andes Cemetery in the spring where she will be interred with her family.
