MORRIS - Marianna Helena Shampnois, a long term resident of Morris, had a special way of making everyone feel comfortable and loved.
She lived in the moment always present and engaged.
She had grace, charm and an enthusiasm for life. She was always up for everything and floated through every situation. Her honest, heartfelt and unassuming ways drew others to her. They knew her as a true listener who was kind, empathetic and one who would always offer common sense advice that was grounded in her enduring faith. She was truly a beautiful soul.
A memorial service and celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, an offering to the Butternut Valley Arts & Crafts Center at P.O. Box 409, Morris, NY 13808, would be welcomed.
