Marion P. Ackerly Nemeth NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. _ Marion P. Ackerly Nemeth, "Mickey Mouse Grandma," 84, of New Brunswick, N.J., and formerly of Delhi and White Plains, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011. She was born to Joseph Patrick and Florence Williams in White Plains on Oct. 10, 1926. Marion was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was known by those who loved her as "Mickey Mouse Grandma." She cherished her extended visits with her family. Her spunk and lively spirit will be fondly remembered. She is survived by her husband, Zolton "Bill" Nemeth; three sons, Thomas II (Nancy) Ackerly of Indianapolis, Ind., Ricky (Melissa) Ackerly of Delhi, and Jeffery (Susan) Ackerly of Delhi; her sister, Margaret Crawford of Leawood, Ky.; eight grandchildren, Thomas Ackerly III, Indianapolis, Ind., Troy Ackerly, Indianapolis, Ind., Crystal Kennedy, Delhi, Shawn Ackerly, Delhi, Amanda Lewis, Delhi, Ricky Ackerly Jr., Delhi, Kristie Ackerly, Indianapolis, Ind., and Mikella Ackerly, Delhi; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph and Richard; her sister, Ethel Russell; and former husbands, Thomas W. Ackerly Sr., and Patrick J. M. Kelly. A private graveside service is planned in the Woodland Cemetery in Delhi.
