Marot Moller Obituary

DELHI - Margot Moller, 101, formerly of Vermillion, South Dakota, died on Sept. 8, 2016 at O'Connor Hosptial.

Marot was born on Feb. 22, 1915 on a farm near Flandreau, S.D., the third child of Johannes and Astrid (Myrseth) Wangberg.

Margot attended country schools and graduated from Egan High School in 1932. She met Gottfried Moller, her future husband, while they were students at Augustana College. Margot held may different postitions, both paid and volunteer, throughout her life, setting a strong example for her daughter to follow. One of Margot's favorite pastimes was embroidery and her handwork can be found in may homes of her loved ones. Her daughters are thankful for sharing with them here love of music and delicious baked bread.

Survivors include two daughters Mrs. Joel (Ruth) Kazmierski of Delhi and Mrs. Leon (Geraldine) Simson of Portland, OR; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three brothers. Margot was predeceased in death by her husband, three sisters and four brothers.

Marots family is thankful to caregivers: Amanda, June, Sherry and Kayla and all the wonderful folks at Catskill Area Hospice.

Funeral services will be held Oct. 2, 2016 in her hometown of Vermillion, SD.
