Queensbury, NY - QUEENSBURY - Mary Ann (Pangman) Smith, 86, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, after a long series of brief illnesses.
Born Feb. 18, 1939, in Margaretville, she was the daughter of Everett A. and Sarah Esther (Rider) Pangman.
Mary Ann graduated from Milford Central School in 1957. She worked for the Glens Falls Insurance Company and Associates of Glens Falls Insurance Agency.
Mary Ann married Stanley D. Smith on Dec. 6, 1958, in Queensbury.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and going out to dinner.
In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was predeceased by her husband, Stanley D. Smith; longtime companion, "Uncle Vic" Lefebvre; five sisters; and two brothers.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Karen Smith; one brother-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will take place at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 4, at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.
Burial will follow in Pine View Cemetery.
