AFTON - Mary J. Crandall, 85, of Afton, passed away on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023, at Vestal Nursing Center.
She was born on Oct. 30, 1937, in Oneonta, to the late, Arthur and Mary (Larkin) VerValin.
She married Loyt Crandall in November of 1985 at Friends Church at Rogers Hollow, who predeceased her, along with grandson, Steven; and great-grandson, Exabier.
She is survived by her six children and their families, Theresa and Toby Becraft, Ithaca, Rick and Lori Zurn, South Carolina, Randy Zurn and Kamal, Thailand, Jim and Elaine Zurn, Apalachin, Lisa McCauley, Afton, and Tim and Darcy Zurn, Florida; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held in Rogers Hollow Cemetery, Unadilla, at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 3.
