Davenport, NY - DAVENPORT - Nancy E. Turner, 84, passed away on March 17, 2026, at A.O. Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta after an extended illness.

Nancy was born on Sept. 24, 1941, in Dorloo, the daughter of Frank and Frances (Warner) McMann. She grew up in Cobleskill, where she graduated from high school.

On Sept. 24, 1961, she married Jack E. Turner at the Edmeston Methodist Church. Over the years, Nancy worked at Newberry's in Cooperstown, a glove factory, and Spring House Bath Spa in Sharon Springs. Her proudest moments, however, were spent raising her children. She loved nature and the NY Yankees.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Turner; daughters, Melissa (Mark) Cronin, and twins Cindy Turner and Mindy Turner; granddaughter, Jacqueline Christophersen; and sister, Shirley Slater, along with Shirley's children, Susan Diamond and Rich Slater, and their families.

She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Virginia Briggs and her brothers, Edward, Frankie and Pete McMann.

Visitation will be 5 to 6 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, at Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta.

Burial will take place at a later date.
