MEREDITH - The Rev. Richard J. Niebanck, a retired Lutheran minister, residing on Turnpike Road, Meredith, died of natural causes on May 5, 2021. He was 89.

Surviving family include his wife, the former Shirley McCreary, also of Meredith; a son, Markus of Oakland, California; a second son, Adam; a daughter-in-law, Paula and their children, Elizabeth and Peter of Franklin; and also a brother, Paul of Seattle, Washington.

The family will receive visitors at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Andes Road, Delhi between 4 and 7 p.m., (TODAY) Friday, May 7, 2021 with services to follow.

Burial and committal services will be held privately at the convenience of the family at East Meredith Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 565 Andes Road, Delhi, NY 13753.
