EARLVILLE - Richard L. Alger, 79 years of age, passed away peacefully at home at North Main Street in Earlville, Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024. Richard, born March 15, 1945, was the son of Russell and Dorothy Alger of Oneonta, where he attended school. He also went to Cobleskill college majoring in computer technology.
Richard was employed by the D & H Railroad until he moved to Sherburne, where he was employed by Webb & Sons lumber and then Lok N Logs.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, and two sons and daughter, a brother, Wayne, and a sister, Connie. Richard will long be remembered for his laugh and love of fishing and camping.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville.
