ROXBURY - Robert F. Anderson Jr. died unexpectedly and very suddenly on Dec. 13, 2021.
Bob enjoyed going down to Ballard's Honey to draw and label honey to help Bill out. Bob loved going to the markets with Bill in NYC also. Bob liked to hunt. He enjoyed going to the speedway and shooting the breeze with his friends. He enjoyed summer time barbecues at his daughter Marilyn's house with his grandsons and Bill.
Bob was excellent at "naming that tune." He only ever needed the first note of the song and he could sing you the whole first verse to any song.
Bob loved the Fourth of July fireworks as it was his birthday as well.
Bob really liked working at golf courses. He worked at three in his lifetime.
Bob is survived by his life companion, Elayna Beebe; and furry best bud, Max. Also survived by Bob are his children, Christina Maxim and husband, Steven, Marilyn Hamil and husband, Bill, Adam German and spouse, Kaytee, Katie Young, Robert Anderson and Morgan Anderson; grandchildren, Geanna and Helena Maxim, Mike and Cole Hamil, Ryan Meeker and Rodney, John, Rose, Paige and Owen German.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 22, at Miller Funeral Home in Roxbury.
Burial will follow in the spring in Manorkill Cemetery where his parents are. Everyone is welcome.
