Roberta (Bobbie Jean) Kimball Ackerson ENDICOTT _ Roberta (Bobbie Jean) Kimball Ackerson, 73, Endicott, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Sunday, May 27, 2012, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Fred Ackerson; three children, Brenda Riesen, Glen Aubrey, Craig (Jane) Wilson, New Hampshire, and Joel Wilson of Florida; three stepchildren, Fred (Patricia) Ackerson, Alice Callahan and Catherine (Jake) Godbout, all of Binghamton. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruzilla Kimball Fink, Setauket, Long Island; a nephew, David (Jacqueline) Fink and their son, Tyler, Deer Park, Long Island; a niece, Jennifer Fink, Brookhaven, Long Island; several cousins; one aunt and one uncle. She was very devoted to her family. She loved working outdoors in her flower gardens and scrapbooking. She was always the first one to help when someone was in need. Funeral services will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St. Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 until the service time at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
