Gilbertsville - GILBERTSVILLE - Royce Donald Hill, 97, of Gilbertsville, passed away Friday, Sept. 20, 2024 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown surrounded by his loving family.

Royce was the son of the late Harold James and Sarah Faith (Olmstead) Hill; born June 21, 1927 in the town of Buttternuts. On Aug. 8, 1953, Royce married the love of his life, Darline (Waller) Hill. Royce graduated from Gilbertsville Central School in 1946.

Family and friends are invited to his calling hours from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Christ Episcopal Church, 166 Marion Avenue, Gilbertsville. His memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. with Father Bill Lytle, officiating.
