ONEONTA - Sally Jo Yetman, 85, passed away, Aug. 21, 2024, at A.O. Fox Hospital, Oneonta after a short illness.
She was born April 15, 1939, in New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Waldo and Constance Potts Watson.
She is predeceased by her husband, Bill Yetman, and son, Scott Robin Baird.
She is survived by her son Anthony Baird and daughter-in-law, Melanie Sheppard Baird, her grandchildren, Emily (Dustin) Keefe, Matthew (Makayla) Baird, and Samuel Baird, and great-grandchildren Robin Keefe (five), Sullivan Keefe (three) and Ellie Mae Baird (one).
Sally Jo will be remembered for her sense of humour and quick wit. She was the best Grandma and a loving mom. She will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
The family would like to thank close friends Mark and Judy Doring for their continued love and support.
At Sally Jo's request, a private family service will be held.
