FRANKLIN - Sally M. Mann, 78, of Franklin, passed away early Saturday morning, Dec. 17, 2022, at home, following a long illness.

Sally was born on Sept. 30, 1944, in Greenwich, Connecticut, the daughter of the late Hans and Hazel (Wood) Norling.

On April 6, 1963, she married David Mann in Brookfield, Connecticut.

Sally was a supervisor at Henry Abbott Tech in Danbury, Connecticut, for many years.

She was a member of the Washington Reading Club in Franklin, and an Auxiliary member of VFW Post 100, Bethel, Connecticut.

She enjoyed walking and baking, especially Christmas cookies. She loved her dogs, her friends, and her family.

Sally is survived by her loving family, husband, David Mann; children, David Mann of Bethel, Connecticut, and Theresa (Peter) Palmer of Bethlehem, Connecticut; grandchildren, Maryanne, Peter Jr., (Kellie) and Mike; as well as great-grandchildren, James, Robbie, Logan, Cameron, Oliver, Everlee, Elaina, and Petey III; brother, James Norling of Tennessee; brother and sister-in-law, Mark Mann, Southbury, Connecticut; Linda (Larry) Dudley, Elaine (Al) Schellig of Florida; Christine Willman, Bethel, Connecticut; very special goddaughter, Katelyn Jordan; special friends, Sue Taggart and Donna Cox; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her brothers, William Norling, Ernest Norling and sister, Shirley Hubbell.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
