DELHI - Sandra H. Moody, 88, of West Platner Brook, Delhi, passed away early Thursday morning, Oct. 13, 2022, at Robinson Terrace Nursing Center, Stamford.

Born on May 27, 1934, in Walton, she was the daughter of the late Walter G. and Ethel (Palmer) Hoyt.

Sandra was married to Elden H. Moody, who passed away in 1992.

She worked for Delaware County ARC in Walton and assisted Elden with the operation of the family dairy farm on West Platner Brook. Sandra also was a dairy laboratory technician, working as a milk tester at several local labs. Sandy also was a 4-H leader for several years.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her children, Michael Moody and Cathy McGovern; and grandson, Matthew Mellott.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Karen (Robert) Mellott of Gilbertsville; daughter-in-law, Annette Moody of Delhi; grandchildren, Wayne, Kimberly, Donald, Cheryl and Corey; great-grandchildren, Paige, Brynn, Bowen, Tasha, Azylyn, Taylor, Milo and Aubrey; great-great-grandchildren, Trent, Archer and Aleczander and one due in March.

Friends and relatives are invited to call from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 19, at MacArthur Funeral Home, 134 Main St., Delhi, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday. Burial will follow in Walton Cemetery, Walton.
