Oneonta, NY - Susan Marie Speranzi-Holmes, born Nov. 17, 1951, passed peacefully May 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Susan spent summers in Oneonta and winters with her husband, "Stan the Man," in Vero Beach, Florida, making every house a home filled with warmth, laughter and unconditional love.

Susan is survived by her husband, Stanley Holmes; children, Marc Speranzi, Chip Holmes and wife Stephanie, and Stephanie Baumes and husband Eric; grandchildren, Mason Speranzi, Maria Speranzi, Beckett Holmes, Porter Holmes, and Sophia Baumes; and Ramona Speranzi, mother of Mason and Maria. Her grandchildren were where her heart was, bringing her endless joy.

She is also survived by her brother, Brian Marble and companion Tammy Fisher Gardepe, and her sister, Beverly Fuller. She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Angie Marble; brothers, John and Richard Marble; and sister, Violet Wells.

Susan was the shining light in every room, always ready with a smile and a listening ear. Her love and spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
