Sodus Bay, New York - SODUS BAY - Terry Lee Riordan, 68, of Sodus Bay passed away at home with family by her side Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024.

Terry was born in Syracuse Nov. 13, 1955, a daughter of the late Robert and Elene (Evans) Earnshaw.

She worked for Hall-McChesney Company in Syracuse from 1973 to 1979 before taking a position at Carrier Corporation working in computer data entry and customer service from 1980 to 1985. Terry always put her family first with many friends being considered family. She was the original puzzle queen, completing many 18,000 piece puzzles on her own. Terry especially enjoyed the ocean whether it was taking beachside walks, watching the waves and sunsets, and just relaxing on the beach. An avid reader, she read many English mystery novels and also loved watching Film Noir movies.

Terry is survived by her husband, Frederick Riordan; sons, Dr. Adam (Ashlin) Riordan and Chris Kelsey; and siblings, William Earnshaw, Sue Huxtable, Sharon Vertuo, and James Suttles. The family will be present to receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Trumansburg. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private for family at Grove Cemetery. A luncheon will follow from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Little Venice in Trumansburg.
