Unadilla, NY - UNADILLA - Thomas Leon Marr, 67 of Unadilla went home to Christ on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown. He was born Oct. 1, 1957 in New York City. He was the son of Howard and Margelia (VanCott) Marr.

He was a retired employee of Amphenol Corp. after over 45 years. Tom was happily a lifetime resident of Unadilla. He will be remembered always as a devoted husband, caring father, doting grandfather, meticulous tinkerer, thorough caretaker, master of machines, treasure hunter, fire tender, nature enjoyer, keen photographer, graceful diver, skilled motorcyclist, cross-country traveler, snack connoisseur, and faithful believer in Christ. He was known by infinite other titles, none of which do him justice.

Tom is survived by his wife Janet; four children, Thomas and Amy Marr, Unadilla, Johanna and Travis Andrews, Unadilla, Julian and Christiana Marr, Winchester, Virginia, Margelia Marr and Tanner Costa, Unadilla; two grandchildren, Isaac and Amelia; sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Lewis Cornell, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

He was predeceased by his brother, James Marr.

Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 6 at First United Methodist Church of Unadilla, 170 Main Street. Rev. Brandilynne Craver will officiate. Online condolences may be made at: www.wmaddenfh.com. Arrangements by Westcott-Madden Funeral Home, Unadilla, NY.
