SOUTH KORTRIGHT - Walter A. Paczkowski, 77, of South Kortright, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020, at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born on Feb. 15, 1943, the son of the late Walter A. and Florence (Soja) Paczkowski.

Walter proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967.

Mr. Paczkowski was married to his best friend, Linda, for 49 years, until her passing on July 22, 2018.

He was an auto mechanic and auto body technician his entire career, owning his own shop for many years in Brooklyn.

Walter was a baseball fan, always cheering for the NY Mets.

Besides his parents and wife, Walter was predeceased by an infant grandchild, Karter Michael,

He survived by his children, Julia of South Kortright, Walter "Bosco" (Jennifer) of Cayuga; Andrew (Lynne) of Glendale, Kris (Dorota) of Harpersfield, and Jon (Alexis Andrus) of Albany; three grandchildren, Emma, Brady and Dylan; sister, Florence (Robert) Krochta; close friends, Kevin and Kathy Scanlon and William and Lori Benkert; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on the family from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at the MacArthur Funeral Home, 15 Buntline Drive, Stamford. Private services with military honors will be held.
