William J. Kreis Obituary

PORTLANDVILLE - William J. Kreis, 61, passed away Dec. 6, 2019, due to complications from pneumonia, in Cooperstown, where he resided with his domestic partner, Ms. Rochelle Plummer.

He was born Jan. 16, 1958, and raised in Towson, Maryland, son of Raymond S. Kreis and Marguerite C. Kreis. He was the youngest of six children, Spencer, Marguerite, Bernie, Joey and Gerry.

He is survived by Spencer Kreis of The Villages in Florida, Marguerite Foley of Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania and Gerry Depetris of Lutherville, Maryland.

Willie will be dearly missed by his nephews and their families, Shawn and Suzie Foley and their children, Clare, Tom and Jo and Courtney Foley, Liz Murphy, and their children, Lillian and Teagan Foley and Hart Murphy. Willie will also be greatly missed by his domestic partner, Rochelle, as well as the entire Plummer family of Sidney, David Sr. and Mary Jane Plummer, Anne Barrows and her family, Julie (Aaron) Witkowski, Alex, Brendan and Ryan, who affectionately called him "Uncle Willis," Andrea (Chad) Martin and Jameson, David Jr. (Beth) Plummer with their children, Chris and Matthew, John Plummer with Thomas, Andrew, Jake and Kate Plummer; as well as Joel Plummer and his children, Henry and Mae.

He was very special in all of our lives and will never be forgotten.
