William R. Carvin Obituary

DANDRIDGE, Tenn. - William R. Carvin, 72 of Dandridge, Tennessee passed away on June 1st, 2021, at his home with family by his side.

He was born Nov. 30th, 1949, the son of Royce and Phyllis Carvin. Bill grew up in Laurens, and graduated from Laurens Central School in 1967. He attended SUNY Cobleskill. He served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.

He worked for Gregory Plumbing and Heating, the D&H Railroad and eventually opened his own Plumbing and Heating business. Bill moved to Florida in 2001 and while there, he managed the Clearwater Travel Resort until his retirement in 2008.

Bill enjoyed watching football, golf and Westerns on TV, playing softball and golf, spending time outdoors, especially with family on his deck in Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Carvin; sons, Chris Carvin and wife Lisa, Cuyle Carvin and partner Angela Reluccio; grandson, Christopher Carvin; step daughters Kelley, Missy and Kristie; step grandchildren Owen, Eliana, Cody, Dillan, Cheyenne, Dakota, Joseph Jr, Benjamin, Wyatt, James, Garrett and Gage; and eight step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Doug Carvin and wife Mikki, David Carvin, Mike Moore and his husband Brian; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Royce Carvin and Wayne Carvin.

A celebration of life with full military honors was held at his home in Tennessee.
