ONEONTA - William F. Stone Jr., 76, passed away Dec. 7, 2024 at home after a long illness.
He was born Feb. 14, 1948 in Oneonta, the son of Ruby May Kingsley and William Frederick Stone.
Bill was a United States Army veteran, serving in Vietnam.
He was self-employed as the owner of Stone's Masonry.
A special thank you to his caregivers and nurses for the compassionate care given to Bill.
He is survived by son, Robert (Domenica) Stone and family; daughter, Christine Falsetta; grandsons, Alexander Smith and Adam Falsetta; brother, Ray and sister, Daisy.
Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, with military honors at 5 p.m., at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta. Please bring a picture of Bill to share on the memory board.
